About
Some think returning to the same place repeatedly is rather boring. But you always see something different and unique.
Hello, I am Bill Biles I have always been fascinated with wildlife growing up in the Tampa Bay area.
This little guy strolled up to me While having a beer and showing a friend how to use their GPS.
When growing up I was always on, in or around the water, keeping me from it was near impossible Whether I was fishing, boating or swimming whatever it was it had to do with water. I found myself always fascinated with the wildlife, whether it was the birds or the fish I was always excited about it. As a kid we went all over Florida diving and just seeing the old Florida, and it is so different today.
As I got older I had to get a job and I went into retail, living in Gainesville, Fl, Tallahassee, Fl, and Jonesboro Arkansas, it just didn’t work for me. I became restless and missing something and never really put my finger on it.
I decided to go back to school where I studied photography. I did work a few years in the field. Shooting weddings and assistant work in commercial and some fashion
I eventually made it back onto the water even though I was living in the Tampa Bay area. On got my captain’s license and did some chartering But I still had a real job that interfered with it, working weekdays and some weekends.
Later years I came back to the water and started kayaking and have been doing so all over Florida. I had a Nikon Coolpix I Used and a couple of Gopro’s and have a YouTube channel. But realizing increasingly I am noticing the wildlife surrounding me when on the water even more as I did when I was younger I then brought a Canon 7D mk2 with a couple of lenses and then a 5D mark 4. I also collected some lenses a Canon 100-400mm, Canon 400m 5.6, and a Tamron 150-600mm. Somewhere buying a Native Watercraft Ultimate FX12 kayak to be able to get in coves and such on the water with my cameras.
So I have taken all the things I have enjoyed through the years and putting them all together with what I have learned, to learn even more.
